The only mains services are the mail & the phone.

Every Scoraig household sources its own water, electricity and fuel.

No police station, no pub, no church, no Tesco.

Approaching a quarter million young trees.

No road comes here. The choice is a boat across a mile of sea or about 5 miles on foot.

To get here, most people go through Inverness, which can be reached by road, rail or airflight.

From Inverness, the only public transport is by bus.
